I was privileged to be one of the MBA students from Stellenbosch University in South Africa who participated in the design thinking module by UMIO/Innovate. It was one of the best modules I have been exposed to. I strongly recommend this module to anyone wishing to obtain skills and knowledge to apply design thinking to complex problems.

The collaboration allowed us to reveal insights in the relevance and added value of our services. Resulting in concepts that will make our services approach more valuable and more differentiating.

The approach helped us to focus on added value within a limited time frame. Validating the data and concepts with potential customers really made the difference. Using prototypes made things really come to live and more easy to accurately validate.

During the project, the team took our feedback and input seriously. As a result, the orthopaedic staff could really relate to the deliverables. The presentation of the outcomes was well received.
