Nudging for Positive Change

Nudging for Positive Change

Planning for retirement, eating healthier, donating your organs upon death – we often know what we should do, but why then do we not do it (enough)? It all has to do with behavioural design, and biases that are common to our species. Nudging can help influence our routine behaviours towards a more positive outcome – and one that is better aligned to our intentions. Pieter Verhallen, a researcher at Maastricht University, tells us about ’NUDGE’, a practical toolkit that can be implemented to leverage the power of nudging.
