Do you have a Master’s degree and want to become a Chartered Accountant (CA)? Then the Postgraduate Programme for Chartered Accountants is for you!
What is the Postgraduate Programme for Chartered Accountants?
The Postgraduate Programme for Chartered Accountants is a small-scale programme for honourable, client- and result-oriented students with a sense of numbers, ambition and a dose of perseverance.
During this programme, there is an emphatic focus on the broader areas of knowledge, skills and competences a chartered accountant needs to function in their modern role. As a result, this degree offers excellent preparation for accountancy practice.
What can you do with the Postgraduate Programme for Chartered Accountants?
After completing the Postgraduate Programme for Chartered Accountants, you will have a diploma that will serve you for the rest of your working life, whether you work in an accountancy firm, start working independently or become an accountant in business.
If you successfully complete the programme and also pass the practical exam, you can be registered in the accountants’ register. You will then be an official chartered accountant and may use the title RA (Dutch title ‘Register Accountant’) in your name. Students are also prepared to obtain the Certified Information Systems Auditor qualification, which also allows you to obtain an IT Auditor qualification. This makes the MURA unique in the Netherlands!
You will also receive a certificate from UMIO | Maastricht University upon completion.
